TITLE: HR ASSISTANT
POSITION: FULL-TIME
DEPARTMENT: ADMIN DEPT-HR TEAM
SALARY: TO BE NEGOTIATED
LOCATION: STEELES & VICTORIA PARK
The Human Resources assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, training and development, benefits programs, compensation, organization development, executive administration, etc.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Recruiting and staffing
- Employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping;
- Employee performance appraisals
- Assisting with employee relations;
- Company employee communication;
- Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping;
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting;
- Maintaining employee files
- Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office
- Assisting in organizing company activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree/college diploma in HR or Business Admin field
- At least 1-2 years working experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Products (Internet Explorer, MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Proficient in oral & written English
- Proficient in Chinese (either Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus
- Excellent phone skills and communication skills;
- Polite manners and positive working attitude and self motivated
- Exceptional interpersonal skill
